How about an afternoon of fun with Euchre, laughter, snacks, and a bit of wine or beer?  Come and join us Wednesday, September 5th at 1:00 p.m. for an afternoon of Euchre.  We will be serving some hot snacks and there will be cold beer and wine available for purchase!  No need to sign up - just show up!

The Concert In the Park will take place this evening indoors, right here at The Gathering Place!
We have been blessed for two years with no rain the evening of the concerts.  We DO need the rain and we will celebrate it here with music and fun.  Piper Road Spring Band will play on our spacious lower level from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. and concessions will be available.  A fun filled evening is promised to all those who attend.  No need to bring your lawn chairs, we will have chairs set up for the crowd.

No , the blog is not forgotten!  Sometimes life throws you a curve ball and all you can do is play along as best you can till it settles down!  I spent the whole month of May out of the office and two weeks of May in the hospital.  A planned surgery had several complications, which led to another surgery . 

But, I am back and we have a very busy summer here at TGP.  Tomorrow night is our very first Concert in the Park.  Come out to North Goodrich Park at 6:00 p.m. and enjoy some brats or a hot dog and finish your supper with a root beer float.  Then get set to enjoy the sounds of "Hand Picked Blue Grass Band".  This northern WI band will be playing until 8:00 p.m. and the concert is FREE.  Bring your lawn chairs, tell the neighbors and bring along the family!  See you there!

Too much time has passed since I posted.  I went on vacation and then my computer crashed!  We had so much happening here at TGP!  We are celebrating Volunteer Appreciation Month and we had our annual banquet last Thursday evening.  The Volunteer of the Year was Judy Janke!  Congratulations Judy!!

Wow - what a great morning here at TGP!  The Rock River Cloggers came to dance and show us what they do!  We had a nice group who enjoyed the show and we are starting our own clogging group!  If you are interested, join us this Friday morning (3/16) at 11:00 a.m.!
