No , the blog is not forgotten!  Sometimes life throws you a curve ball and all you can do is play along as best you can till it settles down!  I spent the whole month of May out of the office and two weeks of May in the hospital.  A planned surgery had several complications, which led to another surgery . 

But, I am back and we have a very busy summer here at TGP.  Tomorrow night is our very first Concert in the Park.  Come out to North Goodrich Park at 6:00 p.m. and enjoy some brats or a hot dog and finish your supper with a root beer float.  Then get set to enjoy the sounds of "Hand Picked Blue Grass Band".  This northern WI band will be playing until 8:00 p.m. and the concert is FREE.  Bring your lawn chairs, tell the neighbors and bring along the family!  See you there!

Too much time has passed since I posted.  I went on vacation and then my computer crashed!  We had so much happening here at TGP!  We are celebrating Volunteer Appreciation Month and we had our annual banquet last Thursday evening.  The Volunteer of the Year was Judy Janke!  Congratulations Judy!!

Wow - what a great morning here at TGP!  The Rock River Cloggers came to dance and show us what they do!  We had a nice group who enjoyed the show and we are starting our own clogging group!  If you are interested, join us this Friday morning (3/16) at 11:00 a.m.!

Come and find out all you wanted to know about the Splash Park!  Tomorrow (Tuesday, March 6) our City Administrator, Jerry Schuetz will be visiting at 11:00 to talk about Milton's newest attraction.
He will tell us what a spalsh park is , where it will be located, how it will be funded and what it means for the city of Milton.  This is an exciting concept for our city - come and find out what it is all about.

Our Christian Cancer support group meets this morning at 10:00 a.m.  This group is for anyone who is touched by cancer.  Our group is run by Steve Hynds and each month we have an area pastor give a short talk.  We then break into groups.  At our first two meetings, we averaged 15 people per meeting!
We are excited about the group and invite anyone who has been touched in any way by cancer.
The group meets the first Friday of each month at 10:00 am.
